Did you know that invasive species is one of the leading threats to native wildlife, endangered animals, agriculture, and even bodies of water? Creatures like the Sea Lamprey, the Asian Carp, Quagga and Zebra Mussels and Rock Snot are just a few examples of species with the potential to bring devastating harm to our lakes, rivers, and streams. They can even damage equipment like our boats and our drains.
Wildlife Forever have teamed up with more than 2,500 organizations across the nation, including Federal, State, and Canadian organizations, to stop the spread of invasive species with our Clean, Drain, Dry initiative. Thanks to Doug Grann and Pat Conzemius, Wildlife Forever’s Clean, Drain, Dry initiative complements Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers and is helping to educate people around the country about the need to prevent the spread of invasive species.
