Minnesota’s Spring Lake boat access will temporarily close this fall

Public access to Spring Lake will be closed for a while this fall.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources plans to shut down access in Prior Lake on Sept. 6. The department plans to have most work done and the ramp opened again by Oct. 15. DNR inspector: Waiting to help

The project includes improvements to the storm water management and an Aquatic Invasive Species boat inspection and clearing area will be added. New, night sky friendly lighting, a new boat ramp, new bituminous for the parking lots and shoreline restoration will also be included in the planned work.   Click on the following sentence to access the full story and see the rights to the photo.
