Boat Cleaning Stations Pilot Project Helping to Slow Invasive Spread in Minnesota

Wildlife Forever’s pilot project, to deploy CD3 Watercraft Cleaning Stations near Minnesota lakes, has shown tremendous progress by providing boaters Clean Drain Dry invasive species prevention tools. Through advanced technology and reporting software, CD3 Cleaning Stations placed at boat landings have been used over 6,600 times in just three months. Through an innovative partnership with local entrepreneurs, lake groups, county, state and federal collaborators, Wildlife Forever’s Clean Drain Dry Initiative (CD2) is all about creating the tools to slow the spread of invasive species.  Click on the following sentence to access the full story.
